    1. Very unlike any Diana Palmer I have ever read. The heroine is NOT spineless and does NOT have a martyr syndrome. What a relief! The hero is not the psycho abuser she loves to write usually, though there is definitely push and pull but I thought it was pretty reasonable in this case. (view spoiler)[Hero has been celibate for seven years after his fiancee jilted him. He is afraid of heroine being too young and he is terrified of being hurt again because he is so enamored of her, he intuitively know [...]

    2. I gave this book two stars just for the Hart brothers mania for biscuits. They were kinda cute. Let's meet the H/h: Callaghan is a broody and silent man who doesn't want any sort of relationship. Tess is the new housekeeper and BISCUIT-MAKER who is scared to death of Cag for half the book, then discovers that under all those glares and frowns there's just a man scared of hurting again and so after ups and downs they have their HEA.Actually the story wasn't so bad, I just couldn't stand the main [...]

    3. "Can't we go home?"She made the word sound soft, mysterious, enticing. He'd lived in houses all his life. She made him want a home. But it wasn't a thing he was going to admit just yet, even to himself. -Diana PalmerCallaghan's Bride

    4. Callaghan was very mean and nasty towards Tess, DP showed how innocent Tess was, Tess was genuinely a nice young girl, No matter how mean Callaghan was, he never broke Tess’s sprite. In the end little Miss sweet and innocent made him stop the world to get her back. He want running to her. When he find her she was handling her business all by her sweet little innocent self. I loved this book, I loved both and H/h.

    5. Hero is your typical hard cold DP hero who falls hard for his too young cook. Loved how sweet naive Tess brought him to his knees.

    6. 1 star. I said I'd never read another DP novel again. Well I broke down and read one more but mostly it was because I got it for free and for some odd reason thought that maybe this would be a little better. Well it really wasn't. Although not as bad as some of the previous DP novels I've read it still wasn't good. Cag was jerk, Tess was a doormat, and the brothers were idiots. Cag would insult, taunt, and be just plain rude to Tess. He flipped out over a birthday cake, throwing it at the wall. [...]

    7. kakak beradik Hart terkenal doyan biskuit tp ga ada 1pun yg pinter membuatnya jadilah mereka selalu memburu orang yg pintar membuat biskuit.Tess, si mungil yg baru aja bekerja di keluarga Hart sangat pandai membuat biskuit.kayaknya kerjaan Tess tiap saat buatin biskuit ya wakakakakakacallaghan, terkenal pendiam & muram. si tess takut2 suka ma callaghanh si callghan ini punya piaran ular pyton lhooo (yyg dinamain herman a ampun kagak salah tuh piaraaan ko ular mbok ya yg wajar2 aja kayak anji [...]

    8. This is the last book I needed to read in the Hart brothers series of the Long Tall Texans stories. Callaghan (Cag) Hart doesn't have a steady woman and he won't get one as long as he insist on keeping his pet python and demanding that any woman that enters his life be able to make biscuits.Tess Brady hates the snake but can make great biscuits. She's the new housekeeper and like most women in the Hart men's lives, has secrets. She is also very drawn to Cag. He knows it and he feels the same way [...]

    9. Callaghan's Bride (Diana Palmer)"He was fighting a raging arousal that had shocked him senseless. Tess was beginning to have a very noticeable effect on him, and he was quite sorry that he'd insisted on bringing her here."=========="You don't like me." "Liking doesn't have anything to do with this."=========="What do you expect, you scrawny little redhead, that the sight of you maddens me with such passion that I'm likely to ravish you on the floor? You don't even have a woman's body yet!"====== [...]

    10. This was THE BEST book that I have read this year!!! The second book of Diana Palmer's that I have read, and it--if this is even possible--was even better than the first one I read! I am uncertain whether another romance will ever come close to "Callaghan's Bride;" however, I am anxious to continue searching as I discover more of Diana Palmer's books. If you love feel-good romances, and innocent love, then this book is for you!

    11. Godi luv calaghan hartpokoknya buku nya dia gw baca berkali2 suka juga sama si tess nya yang selalu mengkerut kalo ada si cag saking takutnya hahaha.n banget.i baca lagi buat yang ke 3 kalinya :D

    12. Loved it! These biscuit loving hart brother have to be my favorite characters of all her books thus far. They absolutely crack me up. And I loved that she fought back with them it made the book so much better!

    15. Wonderful Gag Hart has met his destiny when he meets Tess the brothers new cook and housekeeper. Poor Cage fights his growing attraction for Tess tooth and nail by being absolutely nasty to her. 3 brothers down and 2 to go.

    16. Mempelai Callaghan adalah buku ke-2 dr Hart Brothers series yg diterbitin Gramed, tp dlm urutan cerita Cag ini brother ke-3 yg married.Cag yg orgnya garang banget, blm lagi jagoan perang, adalah co yg pny akar pahit ma ce karna dia pernah ditinggalin ma tunangannya yg matre. Setelah Dorie married ma Corrigan, para Hart bachelors nyari2 tukang masak yg bisa bikin kue n mrk berhasil dapetin Tess yg yatim piatu, muda, manis n takut banget ma Cag yg selalu pasang tampang sangar.Biar paling galak, tp [...]

    17. Couldn't go past 1st few pages. Heroine is an idiotic, childish, simpering, whining kid! Couldn't stand her!DNF

    18. This was another book I found at the big rummage sale in my town. I started reading it at 10:15pm 8-20-12 and finished it at 3:30am on 8-21-12. I planned on going to bed earlier but because this book captured me so much, I had to finish it in one night. This book was one of the most emotional books I've ever read. It's not often that a book brings me to tears. There were times I was so happy and times where I was in tears. Several times I was in tears.I had mixed feelings for Cag. Overall I love [...]

    19. I Love this book! Diam-diam dia mencintai pria pemurung [...]

    20. First and second? reading finished??third? reading finished 4/14/12Fast reading, typical Palmer writing style: choppy, cutsy. typical Palmer hero: big, MUCH older, and in this case, grumpy and afraid to commit. typical Palmer heroine: sweet, young, virginalEmotional moment that really hits: Cag relates story to Tess (he's never told anyone else about this) about when he was 6 and wanted a birthday cake like the others, and his mother smashes the cake in his face, starts beating him, and even lie [...]

    21. Well, I think it's kind of short. Right? Callaghan is bitter. After her previous woman left him for younger guy, he don't believe in love anymore. But when Tess, with her innocent smile and red curly hair, came along, he's speechless. And smitten. Very typical of Diana Palmer. Alpha male and innocent virgin. Cliché with misunderstanding and angsty. But again, every girls loves cliché, right? :)I kind of like the way Callaghan got angry in the first chapter. I don't know, I always love "angry H [...]

    22. I picked this book up at the library while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. The book is only 186 pages and it actually wasn't bad considering all of Diana Palmer's stories are alike with different names and locations. Quick read. Of course it was sappy as usual BUT, at least I understood why the girl/woman was so naive and such a wimp! Callaghan was just mean, although with reason, and his brothers loved to poke at him. Exactly how you expect normal siblings to behave with each other. By [...]

    23. my book has a total awe some cover on it well the story was a dream come true for the girl Tess she came to the ranch her dad was x rodeo and work for theCallaghan"s well dad pass a way and left Tess alone well she was the cook and house keeper and the boy of the ranch wanted to keep her but she went to hell and high water to keep peace in the house while troubled follow well she wouldmake sure the guy of the ranch had food and they let her stay she fell in love and the Callahan:were never the s [...]

    24. 38 year old Callaghan and the much younger housekeeper/cook, Tess. He avoids her most of the book and then finally gives in and teaches her about her body. He's got 4 brothers so there are probably 4 other books about the other brothers on the ranch. Ok book but the girl is a little too innocent and the guy is a little too tough and haunted.

    25. This was okay for a quick, fluffy read. I wouldn't expect much more out of it. The one thing that I did find kind of funny was that when the male characters were talking about the female lead, they made it a point to infer that she was strong and feisty. She wasn't. She spent most of the book crying or being scared of the male lead. But she could make biscuits, so I guess she was okay!
