    1. Ugh! Tears of joy. I have enjoyed reading this second book in the Bourbourville Series. I was a little confused in the beginning, because Megan ended up with triplets and Trevor was almost killed in a car accident. But, once I got my bearings, it was all good. I still loved the small town theme, but with the introduction of Dallas, the big city slicker. I thought the plot was well developed. The characters were so warm and inviting that I wished they were my friends and family. Thanks for anothe [...]

    2. I loved this book so much I just kept ordering the next one on Kindle Unlimited. Have now completed all 9 books. What a great idea to just go from one citizen to another and tell their stories, so they are all a little interconnected; it really sucks you into these character's fictional lives. I'm excited to start Carolynn's next spinoff series; McCray County!

    3. This series is a very light read, and if you know that from the start, the novels in the series probably meet your expectations. They are light with no real indepth characterization, and the plot is light and predictable. The author would benefit from some editing as she has several phrases that she reuses frequently throughout the novel, and she would benefit from some character development. Otherwise, if you are looking for a light read, here you have it.

    4. Another easy, cute read. Definitely a romance, but not a predictable one. I like the strength & determination of Beth Ann. Her character shows what it takes to be a single mother & she does her best to do it on her own. That is of course until Dallas Vance comes to town. At odds when they first met (in A Summer Sentence), it is fun to see how their relationship develops.

    5. I enjoyed the transformation of the characters in this romance novel. Beth Ann and Dallas are two strong individuals. The setting was well defined and I liked the plot. It's not the great American novel but it was a good read.

    6. Triplets and a cottage with endless possibilities.A trip back to see triplets of his brother's and a neighbor's son with accident related problems; lead to a love of a country cottage. Exciting series.

    7. Another very sweet story in the author's Barbourville series. They aren't necessarily deep, butthey are romantic and entertaining. Excellent beach read or for snuggling up with this winter.

    8. Sweet romance set in the Tennessee mountains (mostly). Dallas in this case is a person, not a city. A sequel, of sorts to "A Summer Sentence." Escapist vacation reading.
